Let’s face it, theory is great, but you live in the real world. The graduate programs of Northern Kentucky University were built with that in mind. They offer real-life experiences that help you gain and retain practical skills while building your resume and your network. No matter which program you’re in, you’ll work with local organizations to solve real-world challenges. And when you graduate, you’ll not only be marketable, you’ll be Market-Able!
Our Graduate programs are designed for students who want to further their professional career goals. Most programs offered at NKU are geared to the full-time adult worker who wishes to pursue graduate studies on a part-time basis, although full-time enrollment is also possible in most programs. We combine the availability of quality graduate programs with the affordability of a regional university. Because many graduate students at NKU are working in professional settings while pursuing their degree, the programs provide an opportunity to build a long-term career network.
Courses are created and taught by faculty who are recognized in their field. Class sizes are kept small to allow student to receive personalized and individualized attention. Most of the classes in all our programs are offered in the evenings. Some are offered on the weekend and others are online. This flexible scheduling is designed to meet the demanding time commitments of the graduate student.
